Does anyone know if the switch blade keyless entry remote for the newer audis can be reprogrammed to work with a 97' A4?
If so can anyone program them?

Yeah, that building charges $300.00 for a new one! I have been checking ebay they sell them for more like $50, that's why I ask.

Notice the part numbers and FCC ID. I have a 97 and my remote is exactly the same.

Mine is a 4D0.837.231D and works fine. Must be basically the same.

I assure you that I post this having actually used the T remote on several 1997 A4s with complete success.

if you cant afford a $80 remote and a $60 key plus $46 to have it cut and programmed for you... you're not the sort of person that your car was meant for. This is not an economy car... parts arent cheap.... get used to it.
