Switchblade Replacement Procedure

i did a search and couldn't find a write up the clearly document how to do this.

i bought a used remote on ebay and had a key made for my car, but i can seem to figure out how to replace it into the remote.

the previous write ups mention the pin holes when the key is part open, but i don't see how this would release the key from the remote.

also, how do you open the remote up? i put a flat screwdriver into the slot and just ended up damaging the plastic.

open it with a coin or a screwdriver, try mini screwdriver like from sunglasses

once it's open it's pretty easy to see how to change out key and battery etc.,

once you split it apart the battery can be accessed by pulling the two halfs apart (don't try to pry it)

As far as the key I have no clue but that gets you half way!!
