Not true ,mine still work and all the parts are original

Proof again that the earlied year cars were better made. They were dormant for 2 yrs though. When I replaced my battery they started working again . I guess the module had malfunctioned or maybe turned them off from being frozen to bumper from ice. They worked a couple of days after the new battery ,being disconnected must have reset things.
