you should have used the search function.
BTW - I have a tap stage two and the jury is still out. It was there when I bought the car second hand - so I have nothing to compare it to.

I've got one
and despite the fact that most people have the opinion "tap is crap", I can vouch for my stage II rather well. I did have a solder come loose right before the warranty expired, but I even had a loaner ECU sent to me while mine was getting repaired. The retailer I bought the chip from is very concerned about customer satisfaction.

Don't know about boost levels, I don't have a boost gauge. As A4's are on the rare side in my area, I have not compared it to other chipped cars. From what I have read of other's posts on the matter, it doesn't seem to perform any differenty. Just the big rush from 2800-6000 RPM.
