Tech Question
Ok... I thought Audi's had really good build quality, Never in my life had I run this kinda problem before. Don't worry, I still love my car, it's just the stupid little problems that eventually escalate into a bigger one.
I told my dealer about a slight shrilling near the fan area. four days later, the tech reports nothing unusual. But today, I realized a piece of my V6 2.8 engine is loose. HOW CAN THE TECH NOT SEE IT WHEN HE'S CHANGING THE OIL?!?!?! if your wondering where it's located, it's that vertical panel just 4 inches south of the oil cap. I was prying it open to see what was in their, and It looks like my timing belt, that's how loose that SOB was.
****... what should I do now? I'm guessing that's the culprit who's making all of that shrilling underneath.
Can I just drive into Audi Service tomorrow? or should I call them up and schedule an appointment? and have them tell me that they can't see me till another 4 months?!? I live in NYC, service takes a while because of the many audi owners here. Or should I let my car die in the long run so they can finally service me?
