temp light....

Default temp light....
on my way into work this morning. Only drove a mile and a hlaf, I turned a corner and my temperature light came on and blinked for a few seconds. Temp gauge was smack in the middle all the way to work. Any ideas? I never paid any attention to what it normally reads so I don't know if the sensor is busted or what.

Coolant level is a hair too low.

Coolant Temp light blinks 99% of time (but intermittent) temp. gauge and H2O level ok... Any ideas??
