Temperature Display

Hi there
I have a UK 1998 1.9TDi A4, with a blank outside temperature display (under the PRDN321 display). There is no glimmer of a red light or even an unlit temperature reading.

Is the temp. display a standard feature on these cars?

I think...

every A4 has the outside ambient temp display. Maybe the display itself is broken. If you have the automatic climate control unit, then you should be able to display the outside temp in that display.

Thanks for your help. Mine does not. I have also noticed that at the lower part of the front bumper, there is a sensor which is loose (snapped off a black bracket).

I suspect this is the sensor, so I'm going to do some diagnostics.
