Terrible Electrical Problem

This is the last post I will make concerning this problem but I have made some new discoveries and would like to share them in the hopes that someone could help.

Symptoms:[list=1][*]Left the car for 3 weeks, battery dead.[*]Charged battery[*]Car wont start, turns over and beeps after ~10 seconds.[*]CEL wont turn on w/ ignition[*]Tried VAG-COM with two different systems, only airbags read[*]Tried two ecu's; GIAC and AMS[*]Jumped power relay to ecu and still no start.[/list=1]

So this is where I stand. The only thing I can think of is some sort of wire short in line to the ECU that would cause battery drain and the failure to start.

PS: fuel pump doesnt turn on

Im biting the dust tomorrow and taking it to the dealer if I dont get any leads. Thanks for all the help guys.

not related to your problem: to properly post pics on this forum

you want:
<img = "url of the image here" />

with 'src' in between 'img' and '='

essentially, the same as HTML

there was the car parked: inside or outside?.....

you may have a rodent problem. i'd look for signs of a nest in the car and chewed wires.

outside, I dont think its rodents though. I also dont think its the fuel pump because there are much bigger problems. I wouldnt be suprised if a ton of other systems arent working. When I VAG-COMed it it only scanned the airbag. All of the other systems didnt work.

wasco1989 just went through something similar.. it was a frayed wire

from fuse number.. 7? iirc... take out the knee bolster.. and takeout the fuse panel... take a look at all the wires. Same thing after he jumped his car... i think you have the same thing
