wow, it worked
I just got a Palm V and using free software from a company called Avantgo (ironically), I can download the current A4.org forum to my Palm Pilot, read it offline, and write submissions. When I sync the PP back up with my computer, it submits my post, and refreshes all the new ones. So cool!<ul><li><a href="http://www.avantgo.com">http://www.avantgo.com</a</li></ul>

How to get A4.org forum on your Palm Pilot
Go to www.avantgo.com, download the software, and set up your username and password online. Install the software on your PC and the next time you sync your Palm, it will install it on the Palm. Back at the website, Avantgo has hundreds of sites you can choose to download to your Palm like news, weather, etc., but to get A4.org, try the following:
Go to your Avantgo account on the web
Click Create Custom Channel
Choose "Advanced"
for Title put "A.4 org forum" or whatever
for site, put: http://www.a4.org/forum/m/a4/ (this grabs the forum directly without all the frames)
Set Maximum Channel size to 100KB (forums get pretty big)
Set Link Depth to 2 (all the cascading replies show up on the first page, so no need to fill up your memory with more than 2 levels of links.
Don't include Images
Don't follow links off site
Refresh every sync.
Anyone come up with a stearing wheel mount for a Palm V? (just kidding)
