Does any one know where i can get the tap to chase out my lug nut threads? i belive its a 14-150 but no one in putnam county or danbury can seem to get one. Am i asking for the wrong size or looking in the wrong places??? thanks

it's 14x1.5 funny you ask because I just got my tap today :) used it to chase/clean out the threads

in the hubs. Helps a lot. Was 14 bucks shipped from <a href="http://www.e-taps.com">e-taps.com</a>

I bought the last one they had in stock though, gonna be another couple of weeks before the come back in stock. 14x1.5 isn't a standard size. It's larger than most, that and the 1.5 pitch also makes it difficult to find locally. None of the auto parts carried that. I suggest you go to the audi or mercedes dealership and see if they are willing to loan you one if it's urgent

is there any way i can barrow the tap from you when your finished? ill pay the shipping both ways if your still willing to let me barrow it when your finished
