Default Three things :

::::::::::Cell phone picture warning!::::::::: If you don't like it, don't look.

1. RS4 transmission mounts are the ****. I am totally amazed in the difference over stock. Both of the stock mounts were worn pretty bad and one of the supports was broke in half.<img src="http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g214/lomofo90/audi/DSC00849.jpg"> They totally transformed the "feel" of the car, and just to think that I was happy with it before. I must be crazy.

2. Can anyone tell me what this FMIC goes to. It was given to me today because it was damaged. I have no use for it, but I'm quite sure someone on E-Bay will, as it looks like a quality piece.
<img src="http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g214/lomofo90/DSC00873.jpg"><img src="http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g214/lomofo90/DSC00874.jpg"><img src="http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g214/lomofo90/DSC00875.jpg"><img src="http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g214/lomofo90/DSC00876.jpg"><img src="http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g214/lomofo90/DSC00877.jpg">
It looks to be brand new, and pressure tests OK. Looks like someone dropped a pipe/ratchet on it and the original owner refused it b/c it was damaged. It measures 30" long, 3.5" thick, 10.25" high. 2.75" inlet/outlet

3. Everybody likes a clean car.
<img src="http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g214/lomofo90/DSC00870.jpg"><img src="http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g214/lomofo90/audi/DSC00857.jpg"><img src="http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g214/lomofo90/audi/DSC00858.jpg"><img src="http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g214/lomofo90/audi/DSC00860.jpg">

Default Looks to be a Garrett 24x10.5x3.5" core which is exactly what I run on my A4.

But with that rear IC pipe it wont work on our cars.

BTW it looks like the shipping company dropped the box or dropped something on it causing the black pipe to damage the core, not a big deal look wise since it is on the back side but that damage might cause a flow issue at those damage spots.

Default How tough was it to install the tranny mounts?

I may do that and a DTS.

Default Exceedingly simple. I was quite surprised.

biggest tip is to get a tranny jack to relieve pressure on mounts, so that you can slide the new ones in. I was a little confused at first about how the RS4 mounts went, as they look nothing like the stock ones(sorta), but once I looked at it for a minute, I felt like a dumbass. It can be done with 15mm, 17mm and 13mm sockets/wrench. It is literally three bolts to take it out and three + a washer and a nut to put it back in. Make sure you have the longer bolts and "cup" washers with a nut before you start. PureMS has it listed as a hardware kit for $19.95 but you can source it through your local WV/Audi DLR. for about $6. I could have it done in 15 minutes now.

And I'm thinking about making my own version of a DTS. It won't be all pretty and laser cut, but I can easily make a template, and produce a beefier stock like one. I have a ton of various aluminum stock, 6061 too!

Default my tranny mount change didn't do much for me

neither did snub mount change. Still reallyhard on and off the throttle... im thinking the only ones left to change are the rear engine mounts..
