Throttle COntrol Module Update
Got my car back yesterday. Symptoms were the check engine light came on and the car went into the limp home mode.
The bad throttle control module ended up being fixed by replacing the throttle control module, the throttle control housing and a new ECM. Total bill (to Audi) $1621! Glad it's under warranty - glad I haven't chipped it yet.<p>Mark

Re: Sounds like shotgun diagnostics by the dealer. All three could not have been defective!
Evidently they replaced the Throttle Ctl Mod and it cleared 3 out of the 4 codes. They needed to replace the ECM to clear the fourth code. Don;t know why they had to change the housing. (I had the same thought though)<p>Mark
