Tiptronic problems

Sometimes the automatic transmission doesn't shift to 2nd gear when the engine is cold and I'm forced to shift "manually" with the Tiptronic. Anyone else have this problem?

My $.02 (poss. explan.). . . .

. . . the CPU is waiting for the engine to warm up, while also helping to warm it up by holding it in gear (within cold engine stress limits).<p>Sort of Audi's engineers way of watching out for our motors. I wait for mine to be fully up to temp before running faster than CPU would do on its own. Better safe than blown-up, IMHO.<p>
