Default Transmission Problem

I just finished installing the transmission and its worse than before now when I put in D it wont even engage if you rev the engine it does not kick in I scanned 02 and came up with the code 00297 transmission speed sensor G38 No Signal, could this block the transmission from doing its job? how can I fix it or what should I do???
Any help is highly appreciated!!!

Did you check your fluid level and verify the rpm sensor is installed correctly?

Default well it doesnt move at all because G38 is the gear speed sensor

it thinks the car is off because it does not realize the gears are moving in order to engage. so check the G38 sensor and can you post the full error code or thats all there is. like is it intermitent or what

Default Usually if it says "no signal" its a sign that sensor either disconnected or broken

Never rally had to find that sensor, locate it and inspect it.
