Trouble Code Nightmare
Well my 96 A4 is definitely not preforming like it should. Just pulled 8 trouble codes including:
-P0102 mass air flow sensor circuit, low input
-P0116 engine coolant temp. circuit range,
-0401 Exhaust gas recirculation flow insufficient
-P0161 oxygen sensor heater circuit malfunction
(Post-Converter sensor, bank 2)
-P1393,1394,1395 Ignition coil power output stage 1,2,3 electrical malfunction
-P1509 idle air control circuit malfunction
So you see I'm a little lost. Last year about thethis time I had 2 code EGR recirculation insuff. and IAC circuit. Cleaned the EGR, reset the ECU, but the engine light still illuminated. I just did a timing belt about 800mi ago, so hopefully I didn't screw something up. Also when the car is idling the needle bounces roughly 50 rpm also on some occasions the car almost stalls to where the lights on the instrument cluster turn on. I thought it might be a vacuum leak, but I don't know for sure. If anyone know how to diagnosis or point me in the right direction in fixing my slowly dieing car it would be greatly appreciated. -Nick East
