Trunk Lid Jammed

I was having trouble opening my trunk, i tried seing if the latch in the trunk was stuck, instead i ended up accidently pushing the latch up. Now my trunk wont close. Ive tried locking and unlocking the car. When i put the key into the key lock in the trunk lid, it will not allow me to turn it since the latch is pushed down on the trunk. I have also tried unlocking from the inside turning the ignition on, unlocking and locking with remote, with the key, with spare and valet keys, nothing, child lock on and off. I cant get it to close. Is there an emergency latch somewhere in the trunk that i can press to unlock the latch so i can close the trunk?

try using something with a hook on it to pull down on latch bar while working button/key.

i tried pulling the latch down while key inserted, but the thing wont budge no matter how much pressure i apply. is there some sort of safety latch on the inside of the trunk to release it? has this happened to you before?

not to this extent...

i've always been able to release it by hand. since the latch is jammed the next step is to remove lid trim panel, and check the rod that connects the lock/buttom to the latch. good luck.
