Default TT...

I have the chance to purchase a 2000 TT Coupe 180hp quattro for $20,000. It is a 5spd with 29,000 miles on it. I had been searching for an A4 avant 1.8T but have always liked the looks of the TT, plus its a lot lighter. What do you guys think? Should I get this bad boy or what? Or should I wait for an avant?

Default do you NEED an avant??? If not...buy the TT. Just installed a K04 in one...lot's of fun...

it's a much different drive than the A4. It feels a lot smaller. Really fun car! Go for it! I'd also ask around in the TT forum for opinions.

Default You can find a better deal on a TT than that.

When I was contemplating buying one, I found a 01' 225 Coupe with every package and only 30k miles for 21k

Default Re: TT...

I LOVE my TT. I went from a APR stage III A4 with all the goodies (KW coilovers, stoptech brakes, ect.) and it is WAY more fun. The car just feels right...tighter and more solid feeling. Just my two cents.
