Turbo Timer??

Turbo Timer??
I have another question for you smart Audi people. How many of you do just your normal driving and don't really press down on the pedal?? Do you guys worry about the cooling down period? I don't drive like a maniac, I get an average of 28-33 miles to a gallon, my oil temp has never gone over about 190F. Is a turbo timer necessary? I've searched, and I've searched about this topic. There are those of you that swear by a Turbo Timer, and those that don't think its necessary. Which one is it, and I was told by my Audi dealership here that if I put a turbo timer on my car and the turbo goes out, they wouldn't cover the turbo. What's up with that?

if you drive hard... definitely get one
It sucks sitting in the mall parking lot for like 3 or 4 minutes after punking someone at a red light. It definitely will improve the life of your turbo. Either way (timer or no), if your turbo goes, you're more at an advantage to get a larger (k04 or bigger) one.
Are you sure they said they'd void warranty on a turbo timer, or a boost controller?
