yes, it saves alot of trouble....
if you plan to ever chip or just like to drive your car hard every once in a while, its really nice to have. i found it really annoying after pushing it to get somewhere just to negate any time made up on the road by letting the turbo cool down. if you want to give your engine a break, get one.

it's a great comfort item.
If you get it, these things will happen:
1) your friends won't laugh at you for sitting in your car 2 mins after parking.
2) You can turn off your car with great ease of mind and spirit.

Not if you don't mind sitting...
...in the parking lot w/the car running for a couple of minutes to cool the turbo after "spirited" driving. Or you could just take it easy for the last five minutes or so of a drive to cool off.
