Turbo timer question.....

Default Turbo timer question.....

So is there an easier way of wiring it up I don't feel to comforatable about
pulling out the instrument cluster to get to the main harness then splicing into
that any help would be great.

Default Only other option is ripping into the wiring on the bottom of the steering column....

JamesR's FAQ is the best route IMO. One thing though. The wire that you cut that comes off the fuse block can be tapped instead of cut so long as you pull the fuse. Beats cutting a wire.

Default We tapped the wires on my TT into...

...a wiring plug that snaps into the steering column on the left side of the steering wheel. It works just fine and all you have to remove is the shroud around the steering column.

but really.. pulling the cluster off is certainly the easiest part.. two screws.. thats it

Default Well not quite THAT simple...

...you have to unhook three connectors in the back. They unsnap and pull free. Easy.

the cheapest place to get a Greddy Turbo timer III???
