Used ECU from eBay
My gut is telling me that there's a reasonable explanation, such as the ECU was originally an M ECU at the factory, but was upgraded to a CH ECU by updating the flash. But I thought it would be wise to post a message anyway. Is this something commonly seen with CH ECUs? Also, is there another way to confirm that it is in fact a CH ECU aside from looking at the part number?
Thanks in advance!

By the way, what would you consider a good price for an spare ECU with chip? I don't know that I did the most thorough search, but I didn't see too much out there.
As an update to the original thread, coincidentally I had already taken my car in today for maintenance. I brought the ECU when I picked the car up and the mechanic vag-com'd it for me. Part number turned out to be just as advertised. And too expensive or not, worth every penny.
Thanks for all the replies.
