Using the VW Tool
How can I change the CO levels using the VW Tool and software provided. What else can I change without referring to the dealer manuals or Bentley manuals for codes?

In the good old days you could change the CO ratio . . . . .
All you had to do was turn the 3mm hex on the fuel distributor and you could even cheat the annual emissions test. 
The electronics takes care of that now, and you I don't want to fool around with it.

Is the VW-Tool worth the cost?
A friend who runs a successful independent workshop often gets referrals from the audi dealers when they fail to resolve a problem. It may become necessary for him to change or modify some basic settings which he completely understands.
Problem is that the dealers will send the vehicle to him but not the VAG 1551/2 nor the workshop manual. He does not mind buying the Bentley manuals if it will provide him with all the relevant codes for changing the basic settings using the VW-Tool.
Can the VW-Tool change the CO levels and other basic settings?

Hehe I second that...big red marks all over everytime I use it...total POS no codes nothing really
terribly usefull in there...
