Default Vag-Com question: Is it a one computer or one subscriber program?
Can I sign up and then use it on any computer? Im not exactly sure how to ask this. hmm. Im reading the Rosstech site now. Though Id ask in case someone knew.

my KEY-USB cable has the key inside, so it works with any computer that has the software

Default How do they keep you from putting it on more than 1 computer?
Ill try to make this clear. Can I DL it to my laptop where I recieve my log-in key and then use that key to use it on another computer? I not trying to steal it but I dont want my brother and I to both have to buy VAG-COM. Im in Chicago, hes in Flagstaff.

Default You can download it and install it as many times as you want.
You need the cable to connect to the car.

i'm pretty sure after you have downloaded and installed it, you just re-enter the key for each

Default I can't remember since it's been a while, but doesn't the dongle in the cable enable all features?
We really should take this discussion to the VAG-COM forum instead of guessing.
