VAG problem HELP!

Default VAG problem HELP!
I got this USB cable from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/VAG-COM-OBD2-USB-DIAGNOSTIC-LEAD-VW-AUDI-SEAT-ETC_W0QQitemZ220036112037QQihZ012QQcategoryZ30921Q QrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem .
Got the software from Ross-tech.com(409 version).I conect the cable and get stuff like that:
Port status:O.K
Interface:Found!
Type:Serial Pass-Through
Opto/Iso:NO
Ross-Tech Design:NO

Then when I do OBDII compatibility test it says: Test complete
Result:car is not OBD compatible
If this car is a VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda
Try SELECT-Individual Controllers
And then when I do Individual Controllers I get error message: No Response from Controller

I think I tried everything.I got aftermarket radio but disconnected it for scanning.Are there any other options I can try to make it work? Please guys help!!!

409 won't work with that cable. 311.x only.
