Ok I live in Tx, lots of empty roads blah blah blah....my car just can't go over 130mph. And thats based on the speedo. Whats the problem?
I have 225rubber, but no quattro.....
The stretch where I tried it out is not really the best one, it is not completely flat out but even that my car should go well over 130 at least based on the speedometer. It pulls relatively speaking ok between 120 and 130 but then..BOOM..thats it.
I have a Wett chip and they quote 140mph with a Quattro.
Any ideas?

The manual says the stock limiter is at 130
That's 130mph according to the speedo, which gets its info from the same source the as the ECU.
FWIW, my stock ECU would limit the car to an indicated 127mph, not quite the 130 in the manual. The car was pulling right up until that point, and then the limit kicked in and wouldn't let the car rev any higher.
