VWVORTEX FORUMS DOWN
I just checked the VWVORTEX forums and found a message that they are down. I wonder if it is a coincidence that A4.ORG forums had problems too?<p>Anyway...,I had an opportunity to briefly look at this forum today and it looked like there were a number of postings pertaining to what was learned in Germany by our intrepid A4.ORG websters. Now that I'm home with time to actually read the postings and they are not to be found!<p>Jason - is there any way to link back to todays earlier postings?<br>

Actually, they will probably have better luck than us. While we were there, it rained or snowed the whole time. We also discovered that in another two weeks (which would be next week now) Audi was having a big press test drive of the V8 A6. We missed that by two weeks. All the TT's and S4's in the press pool were checked out, so we didn't get to drive those either. And MTM didn't even have any of their cool cars available to drive. <p>Matt

No relation between our forums and VW Vortex's. I wish people would stop talking about their site on the A4 Forum. It isn't A4 related and it doesn't belong here!<p>Sorry, there is not link to the corrupted postings from earlier today...<p>Jason

Missed point
I wasn't suggesting that there was anykind of official relation between A4.org and VWVORTEX, just noting that two sites dedicated to VW/AUDI experienced problems with their forums on the same day. VWVORTEX even stated that they believed that some outside individual could be responsible for their problems and they were trying to figure out who. <br>On the subject of what relation there may be between VWVORTEX and A4.org, it appears that at a minimum (and maybe at most) the two parties have come to an agreement that A4 related forums be held on A4.org, and not on VWVORTEX. VWVORTEX even has an icon right on their forums page linking people over to A4.org for these forums.<br>But - I don't want to belabor whatever is going on behind the scenes. I'm just happy that A4.org exists!<br>

Wow, Jason, do I sense a little competition here? What's the big dea? Aren't both websites trying to accomplish the same thing in furthering the enjoyment of our beloved brands?<p>Relax a bit, Audi and VW can be siblings, why can't you?
