Weird electrical problem:
I was driving today, with my lights on, and suddenly the turn indicator lit up on the dash (left) it did not blink, it just lit up. I tried turning the blinkers on, then the hazards, and then I just shut the lights off and turned them on again. After all that the turn indicator on the dash went out, but a few seconds later the bulb out warning came on, and stayed on. When I stopped, I noticed my front left corner ligth was out, and my left rear tail light. I pulled the bulbs and neither looked burned out (filaments OK) but they wouldn't light. The front will still light up with the turn signal and also the "bulb out" indicator turns off when the blinker is on, but any other time that the headlights are on, the "bulb out" indicator returns. does any one have ANY idea where I can start looking? I am pretty confused, seeing as both bulbs look okay and I haven't touched the wiring on my car in at least 6 months. hmmm.. I am about to break out the Bently wiring diagrams but I was hoping for some collective board knowledge. tia

Some things I've seen......
There's a brake light bulb that looks identical to the "1157" dual filament bulb that the audi's use, but will cause all sorts of issues if installed in an audi. Try getting a new pair of 1157's, and install them.
I've also seen the hazard switches cause problems, too, but usually with just the flashing part. Also the blinker switch too, but only on rare occasions.
I doubt you have a wiring issue, unless you've done something yourself to cause you to believe otherwise.....
