What do these adjustment ***** do . Bad engine pic
You can only see the tip of one of them, but there are two black ***** that are attached to metal piping and go into the firewall. The ***** have a small hole in the top and grips on them that seem to be for turning.
What are they?

Can water get inside those little holes in the top of the *****? reason i ask is
i sprayed some water all around that area and now I'm getting some wierd sound in my console and my airbag light came on. But the dealer was fiddling with the radio too so I don't know if it is my fault or theirs.
