What does this button do?

Does anyone know what this button does? I think it has something to do with the alarm sensors but I don't know how it works. I tried turning off the car with the window open, I got out, armed the alarm, waited 30 secs and then stuck the tops half of my body through the window. Nothing happened. I did the same thing again only this time I pressed the button before arming the alarm. It's a 96.

It is supposed to engage/disengage the interior motion sensor.

press it before you arm the car and it turns interior motion sensor off.

How do I activate the motion sensors? Do I have to wait before sticking my head in?

they are always on unless you press the buttom

Sometimes just sticking a body part inside isnt enough to trigger them. they are changeable in terms of sensativity IIRC. Your may be set to high.

There're small grilles on the top corner of the windows. That's where the window sensors are...

leave the window open and arm the car. touch the sensors and the alarm will go off.
BTW, nice interior colour choice...I've got the same thing it looks awesome!

I just got that shift ****, made for a 98+ but it matches pretty well. I love they way it feels, feels like money. =)

If that's the case they should have made it more ergonomically accessable. =)
