what the hell...

not sure how this happened, but the back of my passenger seat broke off. looks like some of the plastic tabs has bent off. i tried pushing the piece back onto the seat and can hear it snap in, but then any time someone sits in the seat, the back snaps out again.

anyone had this happen before? the black plastic tabs look glued onto the seat back, so replacing just those pieces doesn't look feasible.

maybe this is my excuse to buy sparco milanos...

maybe covered. They cover all sorts of things you would never think

they fixed a few things for me that I figured were wear and tear items. it's worth a shot.

Are you installing it correctly?

Those tabs look fine, try putting it in place, holding it with one hand, and hitting it(hard) where the clips are, with your palm (of your other hand, duh :-P) It should click into place, pull on the bottom slightly to see if it did. Otherwise, you will need the whole back piece.

I've been looking for an excuse for milanos as well....

Same thing happened to me a few months ago...

I had the passenger's side seat airbag replaced because of bad connectors. After that, the seatback kept coming off. I tried to pop it back into place but it would not stay.

Next trip to the dealer, they fixed it for me. I don't know what they did. But it worked.
