What is this tiny speaker / sensor ?
I wish I had a digital camera to make this explanation easier, but here goes anyway....... If you look over the steering wheel to your left, on the panel that divides the front window from the drivers door and window there is a small speaker or sensor of some sort. What's it for? I'm sure someone has asked this before but I didn't know where to start with my searches. Thx.

Throw your phone in the trash and get a Nokia 82XX phone ;-) then you can buy our kit
and you'll have full OEM integration...the install takes under 5 mins, we're gonna video tape a trained chimp putting one in to prove our point ;-) (JK...unless you know of a chimp we can borrow?) Seriously...hook our electronics onto the DB25 in the trunk...snap our cable in on the armrest and whammo, full cell action...radio mutes when you get a call...trip comp and radio display PHONE...built in mic is used...the works. Our design features both highpass and lowpass filters for road and cabin noise etc along will all the needed interface circuitry. The kit will set you back ~$300 which is very reasonable considering as Ed has pointed out...most HF kits are $200+ then you're looking at an install of about $150 and it's gonna be some rigged up crap that doesn't use the systems built into the car ;-( far from elegant.
