wheels ....
Do you guys really wax the rims to make the brake dust easier to come off?!? Is there any easy way to get it off? My car is less than3 days old (500+ miles) and the rims are black!! I now see why most people seem to like the rims with less spokes ... less to clean! What wax do you use?!?

Use any wax you have handy....
....it helps to clean them. The best long-term solution is to switch the pads to something with far less dess dust such as the Mintex RedBox or EBC GreenStuff pads.

It feels like some sort of oil. I think it is just regular cooking oil, but that is just a completely uneducated, straight out, Guess. When they get dirty I just wipe them off with an old cotton rag...each wheel takes about 1-2 mins. I've washed the car many times now and it is still on.
As far as knowing what to put on the wheels, your guess is a good as mine, sorry.

Yes, we do really wax the wheels...
I use the same stuff I use on the body of the car...zaino! It stays on pretty long, and makes washing much easier. Use different towels and applicator pads than what you use on the body of the car.
I will eventually change out the pads, especially if I get a wheel design that's a real pain to clean (BBS). I can manage with the 10 spoke stockers right now.
