Yes, it will. I rarely drive more than 8 hours, so it'll fit on a standard camcorder.
They do have nice record only machines on the site...
Basically this. I have already used my armrest plug for the car phone, so I got a B/W board camera (for low light capabilities), tied it to a 2.4ghz transmitter, put it in a project box, and mount it in the grille area. In the trunk will be the receiver and recorder. All runs off of 12v. No wires other than power.
That way I can record accidents, track events, hot babes that oggle my car, etc....

Hehehe...been thinking about same thing...
I've actually been thinking about rigging up 4 lipstick cams facing out each side windows with the recorder coming on when I turn the car off and then recording the four shots with a surveillance recorder (takes shots in intervals) hidden in some part of the car. Should record for a looong time. Thinking maybe the cams can be hidden in the ceiling covered by the padding. Of course there will be bulges on the ceiling but if you finish it up nicely, they shouldn't look too conspicuous. Hmmmm...
