where would i find some t-taps? radioshack doesnt seem to carry these things

Sorry but that is wrong.
Your picture is of a 3m T-tap while what your saying in your post is about a "scotch lock". The scotch lock clamps down on 1 full wire and the wire your adding, while the t-tap allows you to clamp it down on a full wire and then insert a spade connector that you crimp onto the end of the wire your adding.
Just so you know, the scotch lock is the worse kind of connector you can use for adding a wire to another wire.
