Window tint concern:

Ok ... so I tinted my 2001 windows with 19%Quantum tint.... its supposed to have that silvery look ..... BUT it has a green shade to it now. The guy at the tint place said that the Audi windows r comign with a greenish tint fromt he factory. Is this true and I am considerign goign to 35% Quantum tint instead ... to give it a lighter look so it does not look that reflectory.
Any suggestions and insight is greatly appreciated please.
Oh and he said its the metal in the tint thats picking up the Green form the windows ....

Confused about tint %

Does a higher percentage indict more or less transperancy?

ie. does 100% tint mean totally black or does 0% mean totally black?

I think that's bulls#!t. (more)

i've seen windows tinted with mirror, and it has been greenish, just like what you said. I think it's the tint, and not your windows. (My opinion)

Higher %, less tint (the percent is amount of light that passes through).

But he said that the newer models are comign factory with a greenish tint ...
