Window Tinting

I got a ticket for excessive window tinting (previous owner put it there) so I guess I have to remove them... Is this something I can do by myself, or do I have to bring it to a shop? How do I remove it?

For a cleaner job, bring it to a shop (My opinion)

For the $160 I spent, shop all the way. Plus look for "Tint-off" or something like that at K-mart?

So I might as well get legal tint? (more)

In either case, I'm going to try to appeal the ticket. Does it help if I get legal tint (showing I won't get illegal ones)?

I know in New Jersey there is no such thing as legal tint on the front windows.

Accdg to the flyer the friendly trooper handed out, Jersey allows 70%, which is a joke
