Windsheild wiper problem

My windshild wipers do not go all the way down.. When it's on the timer it will stop about 3 inches up from where it should then when the timer swithes it will drop down and then go through the full swipe and then stop again 3 inches up. Anyone have this problem and how did you go about fixing it?

does it only occur in the intermittent mode?? or does it not Park properly all the time??

"when the timer swithes it will drop down" Where does it sit when it's turned off? Normal position?

Or is it 3" too high as well?

Loosen the nut that holds the drive.....

arm onto the motor, then move BOTH wipers into their proper park spot (without loosening them from their posts), and then tighten the drive arm to the motor..
