Windshield Washer resevoir leaking.....
When I pour fluid in, it just comes right out in front of the left front wheel. I am asuming that the resevoir tank is cracked because I have heard of that problem on this forum. Has anyone had theirs replaced, and how much did it cost? Also, how much was the part and how much was the labor? Is it easy to do yourself or best left to the pros?

dude, I'm having the exact same problem right now. but it's b/c the jackass mechanic that I took it to screwed it up when they did the timing belt service. I was actually at a junkyard yesterday looking for another part and I found the little L-clip that connects the hose to the pump. I'm not sure if thats the part I need, so if I don't need it, it's yours if you need it.

Easy DIY...
Pull the left front wheel, then remove a bunch of torx screws that hold the fender liner in place, and the two quarter turn fasteners that hold the belly pan to the fender liner. When you pull the forward section of the fender liner back, you'll have access to the pump at the bottom of the WW reservoir. That pump is usually the culprit.
Labor at your dealer will probably run you 45 min-1hr. Not sure what the part costs at your dealer, but www.europartsdirect.com lists one for $13.00.

i might be able to help...
I just fixed my washer fluid leak problem. It was not the hose that connects directly to the pump. It was the connection for the hose that runs to the headlight washers.
Therefore, I have two ways of potentially helping you:
a) I have an extra hose connector. It's the L-shaped rubber connector that connects the hose to the pump mechanism on the bottom of the tank. It's yours if you want it.
b) I know of the exact location of an A4 with a washer tank pump here in Massachusetts. I can give your their phone number if you need the pump.
