I bought a used 99' A4 1.8QT several months ago, and have recently noticed that the car has the 5 spoke 16 inch wheels on them with H rated tires. The car also has a sport steering wheel. Just wondering if my car has the sports package. Any thoughts??

You need to look at the shox... If they are redish-maroonish then you have the sport package
Other wise the previous owner could have just ordered the Sport steering wheel and swapped the wheels/tires from a 2.8<p>- Anand Dhanda

3-spoke Sport Steering Wheel was available (at least 96-98) as stand-alone option...

strange...the 5 spoke wheel was a standard wheel on the earlier V6's (m)
then, when the 1.8T's came out, they were still standard on the V6 w/o sport package, but I don't know if they were ever available on the 1.8T with the sport package. If it's a 1999, the Sport Package wheel should be the 16" 7 spoke design. Also, just because there's a 3 spoke wheel doesn't mean it's a sport package. I think it was available as a separate option. The person who you bought it from probably just swapped the wheels.<p>Chard
