X Chip issues!

Default X Chip issues!
I have one issue about the X chip. My cruise control doesn't work! Jeez... Anyone with x chip, does your cruise work? LMK

Default Did you change ECU's to get this x-chip?
Its normally just a bit change on one of the ECU codes...

Default It's a spare ECU (M box) w/GIAC X installed.
Could I do this with a VAG tool? or just send it back to AWE?

You know, I just put my newly chipped ECU back in last night and I haven't tried cuise control yet. I'll try it on the way home tonight and dig up this post tomorrow to let you know...

Default Yes you can... I found this link, it needs a "G" mode added

Default With VAG-COM do this:
Select -&gt; 01-Engine -&gt; Login -&gt; 11463 -&gt; Do It!

Afterwards, the "Component" field on the Open Controller / Select
Function screen should have a "G" somewhere in the middle of it. "G" stands for Geschwindikeitsregelung (Speed Regulation).
