xenon ....
I just got back from the dealer, I ordered a 2001 1.8T, sport, conv, and just about every other thing I could get ... except one, xenon headlights. Audi has a sheet that says xenon's are not offered on 2001 1.8T A4's. I know I read it, but is it really true? I thought I read where other's have ordered 2001 with the xenon's.

Search for the 2001 price sheet...
Find the link to the 2001 A4 dealer invoice price sheet around 2 weeks ago and the PDF that it links to shows ESP and Xenon as options as well as the invoice prices on the A4. My dealer didn't even have this sheet when I brought it in to show of their availability.

I just ordered a 2001 1.8T, with xenon, the dealer said they would be hard to find unless i ordered it because xenon is more of a high end feature and audi didn't think that many customers buying the 1.8T would want it.

fwiw, Audi (via auditalk@vw.com) told me last week that Xenons will be available _only_ on the 2.8, not the 1.8. I hope they're wrong, since I'm getting close to ordering a 1.8 Quattro and would like to have Xenon as an option.

my sales guy confirmed it
when I ordered mine.....at 1st he wasn't sure they were available, but after checking it out with whomever, he confirmed that they will be available for MY2001<p>'01 1.8T Avant - Laser Red
