I do not know..but. SPP's kit had wire and it said I need to wire it to battery. I might.

try to turn the light on, without the wire the lights to battery.

it is european spec light housing. It doesn't have the orange color piece at the end.

and people say it gives more light on the road.

Since you're drawing power directly from the battery...

did you headlamp warning light on the dash came on? Those of us using a relay and run wires from the battery have that warning light on whenever we switch on the HID. By the way you can remove the rubbery plug (the one with 4 nipple shape things) on the firewall and run your wires thru that hole instead and you'll have a much cleaner look.
