16804 code
Hey looking for some help on this error code, came up as catalytic converter below threshold. So from what ive read its either one of the 02 sensors, exhaust leak, maft issues or the cat is damaged. I can do all of the work myself no issues but im wondering how to inspect the 02 sensors to determine if theyre screwed, or inspect the cat or maft to figure out what is causing the issue. Im trying to do this on a budget so instead of replacing everything id like to pinpoint which is causing issues, ive only had the vehicle a week so i dont know the history if anything has been done already, its an 02 a4 1.8l with 151k km on it no real issues so far. If i do need to replace the cat what would you recommend and where are they cheap online?

Try the cheap 20 dollar trick. Buy spacers and go from there. That doesn't work replace cats
