2003 avant bumper support
on my old b5 a4 I installed a hitch that mounted into the 2 bumper bracket holes. I would like to do the same with my b6 a4 avant.
so i was hoping someone could tell me if the rear aluminum bumper support is removable? and if there are still those nice deep secure mounting channels in the monoshock.
if anyone has some pictures or even better dimensions! that would be fantastic.

I just fitted a towbar to my A4 B6 avant. Yes the bumper frame is completely removable and this leaves the chassis channels wide open. There are four bolts with like a torx head that need to come out. I fitted a witter towbar and even discovered there was factory pre-drilled holes for the frame.
