A4 Boost Controller
I am proud owner of a new Silver A4 1.8TQ. I really want to mod my car but i am worried about voiding the warranty Are Boost Controllers effective and do they void the warranty?

If you are thinking about Split Sec BCS unit.....
I recommand not to do it..... I tried BCS in mine. And.....I hated it.
It might cause "limp mode" and give you "Check Engine" light or more. (I experienced both problems)
When I read information about BCS, I liked it very much and really wanted to try it, although many people didn't recommand it. Well..... so, i tried it and here I am.... took off that damn thing and got money back....
If I were you I would do ECU upgrade.

You may want to see what the folks on the first gen A4 forum have to say about this.
Runs alternately too rich and too lean. Clogs cat. Can burn holes in pistons, melt down turbos, foul plugs, etc. You need a lot more hardware to make it run well for the long term.

I'm not sure about the version of it. I had it on first week of April(2002).
My car is a 2002 A4 1.8TQ, and of course the BCS was for Drive By Wire (DBW) 1.8t motors.
I re-checked every single wire and even called company, but couldn't solve it.....
