Default A4 going crazy

I have an 04 A4 quattro 3.0, I've been working on it for a few months now. Bought the car didn't really know much about what was wrong with. Ened up replacing the engine it. After that ran fine for 2 weeks. Then it's been one issue after another. And now when I start it after a couple of minutes all the lights start flashing, and idle jumps up and down. If I have the air on or even try to roll everything goose out. And when I put it in gear and drive it all the dashblight and sometimes headlight go completely out. I am replaced battering, altnar, the power cord coming from the battery to the alternator hair starter went through all my wiring make sure everything was grounded, rightChange cool pack sport plugs. Fuses relays modules. And the computer and still no change.Does anybody have an ideal of what it could be?

Lots of strange issues there. I can't help with your specific problem but I have a friend who used to own a b6 A4 sedan. His car started experiencing lots of strange symptoms similar to what you're seeing. His turned out to be from water leaking onto a module that was mounted in the rear quarter panel, behind the trunk panels. You might try looking for any signs of water leaks around any electronics in the car.

Sounds like your comfort control module under the driver’s seat is soaked. You will have to remove the bolts holding down your driver’s seat and tilt it back, remove the door sill and lift the carpet up to inspect. Also check to see if the ECU compartment is wet where relays and fuses are kept. Quite often people will try to go into the ecu cover and break a tab or 2 and water will infiltrate through the crack and down under the carpet. Make sure to clear out the drains under the battery and the brake booster as water will collect and pool in the battery compartment and leak through the ECU cover.

This is a common issue with B5’s. He has a B6 and there is only the alarm horn/module in that area.

My bad then. I thought he had a B6 but I wasn't really into Audi's back then.
