aligning ecodes.

Hi, Nothing ever just goes smoothly.

I just replaced my stock halogens with bi xenon ecodes. The lights are great, but the beam from the drivers side light is a lot lower than the passenger side.

I know it's supposed to be a bit lower, with a step but this is a lot. When I adjust using the adjuster, I can only get it to move a little bit before it reaches the end and starts clicking.

Any ideas what might be up? The adjuster is adjusting, just within a narrow range. Anyone had a similar problem?

Have you tried adjusting the other ****?

As I said before, the two controls are not exactly independent of each other, so if the "horizontal" adjustment is way off, the "vertical" one is also compromised.

Yes tried both - the one under the hole I made moves up and down a bit - the other one doesn't seem to do anything much at all, but I assumed it was because you need some distance between the car and the wall to see it.

What if you left the "horizontal" one essentially halfway?

Does the give you a bit more vertical adjustments?

If it still doesn't work...

I guess you'll just have to pull it out, open it up (like you're replacing a bulb), and find out first if anything's broken, and (hopefully) if nothing's broken, how the auto-levelling motor moves the headlights, and try to adjust it up a bit that way.
