APR chip
Ok had the apr chip installed and after a few days of driving I noticed that you can really hear the turbo spooling up this time around. In 3rd gear at about 3k rpms at WOT I start to get a swoosssh sound coming from the engine. Its usually the sound that you hear on a turbo car when you install an aftermarket intake where you can here the turbo spool, but my car still has the stock intake. Im just wondering if there might be a leak, but the car still seems to pull fine when the noise starts. Does the apr chip raise the boost on the car? Does anyone else get this noise or knows if its normal.

oooh yea...
hehe thats how you get the power, by cranking the boost...factory 6psi or so...APR stage 1 will put u at 15 or so....so leak? perhaps. I recommend swapping to a Forge DV or hyperboost or something other than the sh!tty factory plastic one. That might be where you're getting a leak, if you have one.

Ok I think it might be a leak because once I get on the throttle....
the rpms climbs up to about 3k then slows down to almost a stop for a sec or so then continues to climb. Does anyone know a good place to start looking for the leak? It sounds like its comming from the drivers side of the car.
