Default B6 A4 Sput..Sput...Sputter. HELP!!!

My car has always driven perfectly.
About a mile from my house tonight on my way home from work I noticed my car seemed sluggish as I was decelerating towards the traffic light (off the fwy), as I stopped I noticed it shake, sputter a bit. When I tried to accelerate it is very very sluggish and sputters, but it does work and doesn't stall. What the hell could the problem be? I plan on taking it to Audi tomorrow morning (I have no choice I guess).

My guesses (in my limited knowledge of Audis and cars I guess?)
1) Coil pack
2) Sensor (maybe an O2 sensor, before or after cat, etc.)
3) Mass air flow sensor. OK I have a K&N filter, could that do it? I have never had to clean/re-charge it. Never a problem.
4) Air/Fuel mixture
5) Something else?

I do have APR Stage 1+ with the Bosch TT225 injectors.
I plan on putting my APR back to stock map tomorrow and locking it out.
I am beyond my 50,000 factory warranty but I purchased an aftermarket warranty. I wonder how this will work.

Thoughts?

Default 95% chance it's a busted coilpack. Buy one from the dealer for like $30 and install it yourself.

Don't drive the misfiring car if possible until you fix it.

The dealer is about 10 miles from me. I have this warranty I paid another $1300 for, I guess I might as well use it. I think I will nurse it to the dealer... I couldnt even know which coil pack it is, or how to replace it. Why should I pay for it and do the labor anyhow, with this warranty, right?

Default Guess so...

But in my case it's much easier buying a couple of new coilpacks and just replacing them as they go.

Less than 1 minute to replace btw. I bet you'll spend 3 hours at the dealer waiting for a new coilpack to be installed.

check out this write up.

1. How would I even know 100% that its the coil
pack
2. How do I know which one?
3. How do I replace it?

My buddy had a 2002 Jetta 1.8T that the coilpack blew up on it 3x. He got it taken back in as a lemon law deal. He rode in it tonight and said it felt so so similar.

My dealer will give me a loaner car for the day and then fix it while I'm gone. But I hate dealing with it all

Default Oh and I think that 10 miles is too much to drive on 3 cylinders. I wouldn't.

That's my non-professional opinion anyway.

Search the forum for the words coilpack and replacing.

ya but your deductible is probably $50-$100, and if a coil pack is $30 then it's a no brainer.

Right. IF its the coil pack and IF I can know which one and IF i can replace it on my own.

**** I'd be happy to buy it at the dealer and replace it in the parking lot.
