Bad E-Code news...
I went today to swap the parts... and of course I remove the ballast from headlight #1 and go to plug it into the ecodes and sure enough wrong connector in the ecode (so apparantly i've received one wrong ecodes and one correct one) because the other side had the connector for my ballast....
also as i was removing the high beam i noticed this isnt as easy as pictures make it seem (or my fingers are just big and dont work) but i couldnt seem to get the retaining clip back down over the high beam once it was in...
we'll see, hopefully ecs will overnight the correct headlight to me otherwise might have to return them (body shop wouldve preferred having them today)
edit additionally... it seemed like the base of the xenon in my stock headlight was round but it appeared to be going into a square support...

only b/c their customer service responses were reasonable.
i did rant pretty badly when edge racing screwed me over with their b.s. responses tho. I don't think they did anything about it. I'm not gonna stop letting people know about that until i get a reasonable response or apology from those mother fakkas.
i think aw erased my complaint about them. That's odd; either that, or aw search just sucks juicy *****. =]

well i will say ECS is very personable though...
they realized the mistake of the connector and sent me out a replacement that will be here tomorrow...
so if its the correct one this time... ill say it was a positive experience with them...
i went ahead and bought a set of the "safety torx" so id always have it... so now i can work from home and sit down and take my time with it tomorrow...
what i was struggling with was putting the retaining clip back over the high beam bulb and somehow around the wires that connect to it... it didnt seem like it would all fit under the clip

That's a great positive perspective to have. Make sure your HB's...
are positioned correctly...
There is a positioning tab on the HB bulb base. If it is not seated properly, the retaining clip will be hard to secure in it's proper place.
